About Korea Foods UK

Since 1999, we have grown to establish ourselves as the first point of contact for Korean Food in the UK. Based in the heart of the Korean community in New Malden, we have our own wholesale and retail businesses covering the whole of the UK.

Recognising the potential for Korean food in the UK in the late nineties, we started small and imported our first container from Korea into a small garage. We now operate from more than 40,000 sq ft of warehousing and have our own transport fleet covering the whole of the UK and most of Europe.

We carry Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and other oriental food products through our wholesale and retail channels. We import directly from suppliers in the Far East including Korea, Japan, Thailand and the USA.

Our History

Korea Foods was established by Bernard Suh

2003

First retail store opens in New Malden

2005

First store outside of London opens in Cambridge

2005

Main Cash & Carry store opens at HQ location

2008

Warehouse operations expanded to 4500 sq m

2010

Korea Foods expends to 7 cities across the UK

2012

Korea foods celebrates core category listing in over 320 Asda Supermarket stores

2015

Distribution begins to Morrisons & Tesco Supermarkets

2017

Opens 11th store in Oxford
