Originally established in 1999 it has since grown to become
the leading importer of Korean food in the UK. We offer the
widest range of Korean products in the UK and have an extensive
range of Japanese, Chinese and Thai products. Our main warehouse
is in New Malden where we have been serving the local community
since 1999. We have extended our wholesale distribution to
cover the whole of the UK supplying many of the major cities.
We make regular deliveries and have plans to extend our fleet
of vehicles to service many of our customers. We are continually
investing in our logistics and aim to offer customers the
best possible service we can deliver and have plans to improve
our supply chain to satisfy demand. We also have plans to
expand into Europe and are actively searching new territory
to bring our expertise and knowledge of Korean food to them.
Our retail division is called Seoul
Plaza and has two shops in New Malden High Street and one
shop in Cambridge which has been an instant hit with the community
there. We ensure that we offer a clean, bright environment
for people to shop in and our managers try to make it as easy
as possible for you to shop. Whether you are a new customer
or familiar with our products, we will always try and assist
you.
Our manufacturing base is growing rapidly as we have plans
to expand our tofu making capacity. We provide fresh tofu,
made direct on our premises to many of our customers. We are
expanding to make catering sized packs and use a specific
pasteurization process so that the tofu will have a shelf-life
of 2 months!
Our catering division is taking off as we are preparing our
own sushi and sashimi to the local community. We also make
a variety of other Korean food and soups which we are working
on bringing to a wider audience.
Our mission is to promote Korean food. We want to offer an
alternative to Chinese, Japanese and Thai food and are working
hard in looking at how it can be re-packaged for people to
understand its benefits. We are introducing many of the Korean
dishes in the Culture section, so make sure you keep on checking
back often. Food has often been used to bridge cultures, you
may not be able to speak Korean but you can try our food.
Our vision is to see Korean food as part of everybody's healthy
diet. Food is easy to understand once you have tasted it,
that's why we are working hard to make it as easy as possible
for you to understand what Korean food is and why it can be
an option. We are here as ambassadors for Korean food and
work to promote and innovate this exciting and expanding sector.
There used to be just a handful of Korean restaurants in London
but now there are over 40 restaurants and more opening outside
of London.
